in all honesty, i yearn to find a special someone. someone who would love me for who i am. shower me with unconditional love, care and concern. all the earthly possessions are not important, so long that i've got you. i guess haven't being in a relationship, i realised i do want to be in it. where we end up isn't all that important, its the journey we're going to take.

so we planned yesterday to head up to Larkin to get coach tickets for our Redang trip cause it'll be so much cheaper, but things took a 360 degrees turn.

dan found an offer for tioman which was even cheaper than things already were. rates includes daily breakfast, lunch, dinner, snorkelling trips and ferry transfer to tioman island. when that's not enough, they even threw in coach tickets inside. all for SGD158. now i don't know about ya'll but this offer was stunning and opulent at the same time.

this saved us the trouble of sourcing for our own transportation, thankfully.

but we still went ahead with the idea of entering JB cause we had already changed some money to ringgits and we thought we'd just go in for dinner.

and this resulted in an awesome time spent with great friends. goodness, karaoke room at Pandan City is what? RM18 per room for 6 pax? seriously? give me 10 hours straight please.

its been close to a year since my last update. how i miss the frequent late night updating blogger. all the hard work of uploading photos to photobucket and posting them here. the free english lessons i acquire from trying to write a constructive and witty post.

i haven't really had much time for the past 6 months. internship was draining every fiber of my being.

but as we speak now, internship has ended. well technically it should end on March 18th. however, me being the exemplary trainee that i am, have not used my annual leaves and public holiday leaves that i am entitled to so that i am doing now.

clearance of lockers and return of uniform to be done on 18th. however though, me and Tania are returning as casual labours. we are already regarded as seniors and we know possibly everything there is to know at work. so we're returning to help guide the new trainees along. and i swear i won't be like that bloody Sufyan and instill fear whenever i train the newbies.

that just bloody doesn't work Sufyan. get that in your head.

after 4 months and 7 days, this would be my first ever post.

i realised that tumblr is very useful for reblogging photos, or short stuffs. in other words, for people who are lazy to pen down their thoughts in words.

i, for one, like to elongate my posts. well, not to the extent of boring even myself, but just interesting enough to sustain reader's attention.

it also proves to be an alternative for me to actually practice my use of the English language.

sisha with the guys yesterday. sisha has always been our weekends activity and it really is a good break from all the hustle and bustle of life. ohh yeah....

a happy 19th birthday to Khairi Omar! wish you good luck in life and your motor license. faster enrol duuuude. :D

after which, hadi texted if we wanna 'thon' with helmi and aizat. dan and me agreed since its been so long we've done so. went to saffron's at afghan to eat. the plaster prata was awesommmmeee. so helmi was then explaining about this indonesian horror movie, Keramat. cause he just watched it and we were all curious to watch it too. so he went home to get the cd, while hadi and us went to his home to get his laptop.

and hadi suggested the most wrong place to watch it at; sunplaza park. that place already has some 'stories' surrounding it. and watching a horror movie there is totally not cool. imagine while you're watching it and some figure is standing behind you or anywhere within close proximity to you. that's just wrong. i'd just wish i'd faint immediately if that happened to me so i won't have to deal with seeing the 'thing'. but Keramat was one of the scariest horror movie i've seen. shld watch.

i just got back from my cousin's birthday party at costa sands pasir ris. today was a freaking hot day.

i actually brought my housekeeping notes to the birthday party with the hopes of studying there. but it was so rowdy and glaring, i just couldn't focus.

right now, i'm super lethargic and sleepy. i haven't started a thing on housekeeping and there's like a ton of things to remember. thank you nina and syuhadah for giving me tips to concentrate on for the test twice. i accidentally close the chatbox before saving it down so i had to ask them again the second time. thank you!

i've been hearing quite a number of people saying about quitting school. someone from the neighbouring HB has just quit school to pursue a job. classmates have contemplated too. well, who can blame them? we're feeling the heat as second year approaches. a mountain of projects and assignments to be done.

whoever says ITE life is easy cause its ITE, i have to seriously say Fuck You.

if anyone had their way, no one would be in school. i know i would. if i had my way, i would pursue my dreams in the music industry. but i can't. i can't even contemplate quitting school. i don't even have the right to. i must go on, no matter how difficult it is or how stressful it can be. i HAVE to think of my parents. i HAVE to do my ultimate best to get a diploma, at least. diploma's like the new o'levels. its not much. everyone's getting theirs, i'd lose out with just a higher nitec certificate. i HAVE to give my parents a good golden life later on. i HAVE to repay them for all the sacrifices that they've done for me and my siblings. i HAVE to. its a MUST.

shisha today with mael, dan, khai, nina, salleh, tariq and rusdy. it was a good break from all the chaos of school. this week was pretty stressful because of the presentation of our entrepreneurship project 2, which was postponed because we weren't giving Mr Elvin what he wanted. damn, this is the second time.

and i do wish to apologise to Lin for neglecting our lifeskills assignment when mdm saadiah has said that the presentation would be the next day. most of the class didn't complete the assignment so she had to postpone the presentation too. and lin's group had already done it and was prepared 100%. i'm really sorry Lin and your group.

i have an audition for vocal class tmr again cause i was kicked out previously. why? cause i didn't attend my performance at ITE Simei without informing them.

i just got home from watching Avatar 3D with mael, khai and salleh balls. movie was effing awesome. wasn't that impressive plot-wise but the effects are mind-blowing. and i love the navi's lips. its so fucking realistic. i am not regretting the decision to watch it today itself even though i will have a sleepless night trying to absorb in all the chapters for HSM test tmr. or later, i should say.

lessons were cancelled on friday. wouldn't it be super awesome if every friday was like this? i know right.

ate at KFC after friday prayers. sat down for a pretty bit just talking to pass time cause we were gonna go sisha in the evening. so initially, we were going sisha at the new nabins with taufiq, ashraf, haikal, nabilah and co. our plan was to meet at 7 at bugis mrt. but due to some discrepancies, we broke off from each other and taufiq and the rest went to aladdin. i was intent in going anywhere else but aladdin. why? cause the place serves bad sisha. and it's supposed to air-conditioned but you don't even feel it. and it is so effing small and cramp i will never ever have ease of mind.

disclaimer: DO NOT EVER GO TO ALADDIN, TRUST ME.

so my dunman friends and i proceeded to our initial place; the most awesomest Nabins. its quite secluded cause its at the very back but the place is so ama-zing, it definitely makes up for the flaws. its a whole building by itself, so its gargantuanly big. there's two levels of spacious area. both floors are equipped with a stage for any performance of sort. by chance, when we went there, there was a belly dancing performance. and we all concluded, the girl is very hot.

but that wasn't the highlight of the day. it has definitely gotta be when Ismail Hakim had his first few puffs of sisha. yes, the Ismail Hakim whom we all know has never smoked anything of any sort in his life. bravah mael!

went temasek poly on sat for jam&hop. it was pretty blah at first cause its always sleeq that'll be there. yeah i know you guys are TP alumni but really? your music isn't even that nice.

so when some DJ from zouk started churning out the music, the mood lifted. i had the time of my life dancing the TP Mass Dance. one thing i am 110% positive; i can't wait to start life at TP.

i just woke up from a very immersed sleep and i'm feeling lethargic at its best. regaining consciousness, i realized that i have not touched a single thing on my service excellence script which is due tomorrow. i am freaking out in every conceivable way because i don't want to hand in a sloppy piece of work and get crestfallen grades. i only just did a caveat entry before this and the next one, i am ranting about how i have not done this, and that. yes, i need a serious wake up call. apparently, the O's didn't had a lasting effect.

no ignorance isn't my new best friend. procrastination is.

right.. i'm gonna start doing it now. i hope my brain miraculously throw some epic ideas.

mum and dad was talking about the future and stuff today. the topic arose because the brother came home late from school. this is an exceptionally unsettling year for them cause the brother and sister are having their N'levels and PSLE respectively and they obviously yearn for them to do well and move on to a reputable institution. i have absolutely no qualms about my sister's performance for her examinations. she has proven to be the smartest offspring of Zulkifli Hassan. even though that, mum and dad are taking no chances and have geared her up. send her for tuitions, incessant lectures to study etc.

i am my parent's first born so with that comes high expection from them of me. and yet, i have constantly shown them my ability to disappoint amazingly with my atrocious results from sec 1, leading up to the O'levels. the only time i excelled in my studies was in primary 3-5 which you all know, primary school right. easy peasy stuff. from there, i just mainly decelerated. i contemplated, my parents have loved and pampered me so deeply. there is never one wish of mine which didn't got granted. when i wanted a new phone, got it. wanted samsung k5, got it. wanted headphones, got it. i have 3 headphones, countless of earpiece.. all defunct. wanted ipod touch, got it. wanted paramore tickets, got it. none of this is from my hard-earned money, its from my parent's who work hard to see that smile on my face when my wish is granted. it is from them parents who never fail to bring joy to me but their only wish of me to do well in my studies and i couldn't do that. i feel very very worthless.

ms lim gave us a brief idea of what to expect for 2010. since this is our second and last year, it is understandable the amount of pressure there is. i envisage this year to be a rushed one too. industrial attachment starting in september/october. before that, projects, progress tests, assignments and whatever else. i received a 2.7 GPA previously. mr elvin said to be really safe for admission to poly, i shld get 3.5. i have to.. wait. scrap that. i MUST get GPA 3.5 and get into temasek poly. i need to make my parents proud of me. i want my dad to say, "Hey son, i'm proud of you." i want my mum to hug and kiss me for as long as time can go, all joyful of my success. i need and want this. i have to..

so we can all say goodbye to 2009 and yes, hello 2010!

in retrospect, 2009 was a super fast year. but it was still awesome. so in 2009, i found out i flunked my o's. big disappointment. we had ze very memorable chalet in march with my awesome-est dunman friends. i got into ite clementi under hospitality operations in april. the place where i found my truly awesomezzz classmates whom i have grown to love and appreciate. along with this come so many other ingratiating memories i will remember and cherish. i can establish the fact that 2009 was a very good year, despite the ups and downs here and there.

here's wishing 2010 will be even better.

on new year's eve, met with the dunman loved peepurrs. our plan was to watch the fireworks and just chill somewhere. cause i don't club or party, or most of us. call us boring, or not 'happening' but being with friends and family is the most 'happening' party any party or club can ever be. yes shaf, i stole this from you. ;D

it was pretty dark when the clock striked 12midnight and the fireworks popped. why? cause the effing banglas was blocking our view. dang them. i met ashraf and the rest for a while since i ditched them for the countdown. so the rest headed home while dan, me, fifi, khai and hadi wen to the 5B class chalet since they have ordered food for us already. took a taxi home at 7.

i'm telling you guyzszx, the fatigue i accumulated was unbearable. my calves are aching from the continuous walking and standing. the lack of sleep is making my eyes bloodshot red. but it was worth it. i mean who can argue when you have awesome friends with you, the atmosphere. and a brand new year ahead.

today was a bitch ya'll, for reals.

went to cdc to enroll my driving license. alone. so the bus journey was approximately 45 minutes. upon reaching, i went to the admin centre and was so relieved there weren't alot of people = lesser waiting time. as i was about to press for the queue number, i realise i didn't notice anyone paying by cash. so i called khai and mael and yes, they said you had to pay by nets or cashcard. no cash transactions. bullfuckingshit. but i was like okay, the people from cdc must have seen this coming and installed some freaking posb deposit machines somewhere nearby. called mael, and he said he had no idea. khai said the nearest one he knew was unexplainable by phone. so the next nearest one was at eunos mrt station. i was like, hmmm okay i'll just ask the counter woman then.

i did just that and she blabbed about there was no posb machines anywhere near. the nearest one she knew was hougang or ubi central. hougang? hell no i ain't going there just to deposit money. ubi central? doesn't quite ring a bell. now what? eunos mrt station was ze only choice left.

so i took 51 to eunos mrt station to do a freaking 2 minute deposit and then return back to cdc. now then i could press for the queue number quite confidently but inside i was freaking out if i forgot to bring smth like my ic or the money i deposited wasn't enough. now seriously, what is effing difficult about cash transactions huh cdc?! dammit balls.

quite an experience today, i must say.

yesterday went johor with the family to get our groceries and to eat. sorry mael couldn't accompany you to the gym. anyways, i was excited about it cause my only sole purpose of following my family to johor was so that i can find a big piece of land for me to drive my father's car around. and y'know, in front of giant, there's a carpark big enough for me to play around with. so i drove it, and attempted to park it. fuck i was so scared i'd ran over the car beside. but i did a pretty bang up job. ^_^

on the way home, drop by lavender, a restaurant cum cake shop. they were known for their floss bread and i'm a sucker for chicken floss. saw the cakes section and i reminded my mum that my brother's birthday was the following day which is today. we got him three small circular cakes cause my family wasn't a big fan of cakes. buying the large one would go to waste.

at home, we switched off all the lights and placed the cakes on the dining table while waiting for the brother to get home from work. he was taking fucking long that i was getting restless and the cake was starting to melt. but at around 1am, he reached and we all scared the bejesus out of him. hilarious.

so yeah, Happy 15th Birthday to my very annoying brother.

despite the small quarrels here and there, we are still a family. well, you can't choose your family members right. gotta just stick and deal with it.

i woke up at 7pm today. yeah i know, what a pig. bathed. mum and dad asked out to eat. y'know, i thinks its less than 5 times a month my mum cooks. the rest of the 25 days, we eat out. tell me about it, what a lifestyle.

went to spize at simpang bedok. i was so sick of what the other restaurants had to offer there. it was always the same thing all the time. kebabs and mee opeh, and nasi ayam black pepper. urgh. so i ordered something quite extravagant this time at spize. bullet pepper steak. freaking 14.90 bucks. but no doubt, it was some orgasmic shiatz. i have to admit though, it didn't fill me up.

paramore's coming to singapore on march 7?! for reals?! holycunts.

went overnight cycling yesterday with the awesome bunch. mael, muhd dan, dan ramli, khai, helmi, rusdy and hadi. met muhd dan and khai at small mac at 6pm, cause we were gonna take a bus to east coast and then rent out bikes. the others were used their own bikes.

i've gotta say this is the most tiring cycling trip ever. i have sores on my ass, and even worse on my thighs. i whined alot throughout the journey cause seriously, my thighs were hurting that much. we started off from east coast park and made our first checkpoint at singapore flyer. from there, we were throwing out places to eat. we didn't wanna eat at marina square cause we weren't dressed for it, tbh. so we went to ktm, at tanjong pagar. dirt cheap stuff there. and since we were near harbourfront, we made our way to vivo.

slacked for a bit, rested. planned to go henderson wave, but all of us didn't know how to get there by bicycle. so we went to town. we were almost reaching town when afiq called to meeet us. dan and khai told him to meet us at kallang leisure carpark cause its big and free. cause y'know, afiq just got a very smexy motorcycle, the R15. so dan wanted to try it out. afiq left after everyone interviewed him about his 8K bike. and we made our way to east coast back to rest our very sored laurels and to wait for the shop to open at 8am for us to return the bikes. helmi, rusdy, hadi and dan left early at 4am.

on this note, thank you mael for accompanying us three left.

had the volunteer work at lions home for the elderly yesterday. met ashraf and taufiq at clementi, only to find out that our elderly's home is at queenstown. asses. sang, danced, interacted with the elderly folks. its enlightening to know the old folks enjoyed the day with us. by 5, we were done with everything and mdm hasnah treated us, 17 of her students, to kfc. whopping 125.25 bucks. wooohooo. thanks mdm hasnah! ^__^

went to town after that with ashraf and taufiq. played pool at cineleisure. at one point of time, i accidentally swing the poolstick back, not knowing taufiq was behind. it barely missed his eye, thank god. he now has a bruised eyebrow. i know i'm very rude, but i laughed my ass of at the pool table. cause taufiq made this very funny voice when the poolstick made contact with his face. i laughed to myself in the bus home whenever that scenario popped in my head.

on saturday, we had christmas party for the Down Syndrome Association.

this was the main reason why i couldn't follow my family to KL.

so the event started off with some speech by syaiful and some others.

i have to salute syaiful and the 6 other 'orang kuat' for organizing this event.

it really is a tumultuous job, organizing such an event.

after which, we had some christmas caroling, games, hands-on activities and photo-taking session.

special thanks to Luqman and Hazrul for taking out some time to photograph this event.

i concluded one thing, from this event.

i can never connect with differently abled people.

no offence to them, but i really feel like a retard when i'm talking to them, and they're not necessarily listening to you and you kinda just wanna walk off.

i didn't interact much with my buddy cause his case wasn't that bad, and he was stable enough to do things on his own.

but it was really an eye-opener being around this kids.

and a few adults, cause 7 of the down syndrome kids were above 20. one of them was 41.

awesome right.

they're humans with feelings too and they wanna be loved and accepted.

and it gives me a sense of joy knowing these kids enjoyed the day.

i suddenly lost all inspiration to blog ever since i deleted the photos in my thumbdrive.

now i have to slowly collect them all again.

so today, i had a job interview with mael and muhd dan. i was so happy because we could choose the brands we prefer to work for like g2000, topman, adidas etc.

i skipped school for this cause it was from 12 to 5 and my lessons only ends at 5.

and i so badly needed those extra hours of sleep.

and since all of us haven't been to kovan, we actually took a very longer route there.

well i assumed that kovan and novena was near since they are like pronounced similarly.

so since novena was on the red line on the mrt, i thought kovan was just beside it so we took the mrt.

we then went to tp via taxi cause mael was late for his next tutorial at 4.

Dunman is holding a secret farewell party on 17 november for our dearly beloved principal, Mrs Edelweiss Neo to celebrate her departure as her term of office as principal of Dunman Secondary School ends on December 15.

they have called this mission, "Operation Beyonce".

i, at times, do not favour Mrs Neo as she can be a bit of a biased individual but Dunman wouldn't be where it is today if not for her.

it is evident that she really works hard to bring up the name of Dunman. and yes, we all should show our appreciation towards her efforts.

i've never actually heard of a principal who stays past 9 to finish her work and to the extent of giving english night classes herself to graduating students for their O'levels.

being one of the first few ones to reach the school, and the last one to leave.

always there when a need arises. even otherwise.

i usually have a blatant disregard for authority.

but i believe, with all my heart that Mrs Edelweiss Neo, the 12th principal of Dunman Secondary and the longest duration of principal there, should be honoured for her gratifying hardwork and unparalled care and concern for her students.

the farewall party is a two-parter.

the first one's in the morning from 11.30am to 12.30pm, just after graduating ceremony.

the second one's in the evening from 7.00 to 9.30pm.

i wanna there for both but school's an obstacle in the morning.

so yesterday's plan to watch a movie was fucked up awesome.

zahidah actually wanted to watch darah, but the only showtime was 12am.

basically, all horror movies starts late so we had to give that up.

i picked on jennifer's body since well, Megan Fox was in it.

Paranormal Activity was actually very good, but it took quite a long time to get to the climax.

its definitely one of the scariest movies i've seen.

i mean, they don't show the ghosts face or anything but the fact that the movie was made to be like a homemade video, we all could relate to it.

it was like a couples' real experience with an apparition in their house and they were merely just recording it.

i didn't feel as if the actor's are acting. it felt real.

a must watch!

today was a day very well spent.

muhd dan actually randomly asked us out to cycling yesterday after prayers. then khai and dan ramli actually agreed to it.

so today, we, namely me, mael, muhd dan, dan ramli and khai had a cycling outing at east coast park.

sorry fikri for the communication breakdown.

we met at small mac around 5. and then proceeded to our locus.

the others rented bicycles, but i chose for smth more adventurous

rollerblades.

i can rollerblade. as in basic stuff, its within my grasp. i've only gotta master the braking part and getting myself in equilibrium.

the guys wanted to cycle to esplanade. its so easy for them to say cause they have seats they can actually sit on comfortably. i, on the other hand, have to stand and rollerblade.

so when we reached kallang leisure park, we decided to stop there and make a u-turn since we had to return the bikes and blades pretty soon.

so what do you expect when you have a mediocre rollerblader skating towards tumultous tracks?

ABRASIONS. SCRAPES. CUTS. and whatever else that pertains.

but i have to say that the one when i fell when i was holding on to mael, that was the worst one. i didn't see that there was a bump on the pavement, and i fell flat on my right knee.

but mael made me laugh instantenously. dammit you. haha.

yes, i'm all aching and both my feet aren't showing me any mercy.

but its me, i'm not me without the occasional cuts and scratches.

we had our dinner at mac. mael and dan had nasi ayam penyet. yes luqman, they are kampung boys.

my internet is being a one-legged prostitute.

i have a bleddy service excellence test tmr and i haven't started studying for it. i actually thought of not studying and just try my luck, but i remembered the lecturer said this is gonna count into my gpa.

fuck.

i'm awesomely sleepy, but i don't wanna sleep. irony. i've been getting like only 3 hours sleep everyday only. this explains why i don't feel the long duration of the train ride to school, cause i sleep almost straightaway when i get a seat, only to wake up at buona vista.

i'm ecstatic tmr's friday cause i get to meet my dunman dudes. i miss them already, even though i just met them last week. see you guys at KFC! (:

and also it marks the coming of the weekends. finally, i can get to sleep for more than 10 hours.

and i miss shaf badly. its been ages since we last went out with her.

i didn't have the slightest expectation that what she would show would leave a deep impact on me.

i absolutely love and adore this video very much.

so yesterday's trip to sentosa to celebrate nabila's birthday was awesome.

there was ashraf, wani, rimah, diyanah, taufiq, risa and of course nabila herself from the awesomest Hotstuffs Academy.

and not to forget wani's crappy boyfriend, farhan. hahah.

and rimah's friends, halis and zee.

i met rimah, ashraf and wani and farhan at suntec's swensens at ard 2.45 i guess cause they were getting the ice cream cake there.

ashraf doesn't believe in getting non-branded cakes. -_-

we proceeded to sentosa then.

ashraf told nabila he couldn't make it. you know, he wanted the surprise effect.

all i can say is sentosa is freaking hot, i'm all bovvered.

but it was an awesome day spent.

my initial plan today was to go to the gym after school with mael.

but after reaching ghufran all hot and bovvered, i guess it was good thing we didn't go.

luckily the tee and slippers i brought came in handy.

we did the usuals. and then ate at KFC.

after which, diyana called mael and asked if we wanted to go starbucks and slack there.

after much hesitation, we agreed. i followed mael back to his house first cause he wanted to take his laptop.

why? cause he wants to get hari raya photos from diyana and everyone else in original format. not just merely saving from facebook.

the new timetable suck, honestly.

its such a shocker, in comparison to last term's cause its so much more packed.

everyday starts at 8 except on monday which starts at 9, and ends at 5.

even friday ends at 1. last term was 11.30.

i'm ultimately sad about this cause this doesn't give me enough time to get back to ghufran at tampines for friday prayers with the dunman dudes.

bitches.

so i'm taking 5 new core modules this term.

namely Housekeeping, Hospitality Sales & Marketing, Writing for Business, Service Excellence and Entrepreneurship.

i'm pretty excited about writing for business because its kinda similar like learning english in secondary school.

so that's a saviour.

although the notes are thick, similar to a POA textbook.

hospitality sales & marketing is a little blahhh cause its theoretical. and i'm so expecting it to be dry.

housekeeping could be fun. we have to clean a normal hotel room within 45 minutes. that sounds fair, doesn't it?

fingers crossed, Mr Elvin who teachers the last period on friday releases us early everytime.

i've never liked saying i really like this person and go on about how i love that person so much and that person being the best thing that's ever happened to me, but later on it fades. i was never a fan of liking a number of girls. i'd much rather just stick to liking one girl and let the feelings grow.

it makes me cringe, whenever i hear or read about people saying they love their current partner to the point of saying forever. but ultimately, it leads to a breakup. i'd rather just be sure and love this one person, for a very long time. even if it means i don't get to be with them.

yes i realise, i'm totally at the losing end of the stick. but i'd take that, anyday.

i don't claim to be a genius in this very delicate but complicated matter. i'm a greenhorn, so to say cause i've never been in an actual relationship. there was one, but that was in primary 6. the girl and i have established the fact that it wasn't real cause we were still young and it was just a case of liking each other. nothing serious.

what i think about love, is that its a feeling which transcends boundaries beyond space. i mean when two parties truly love each other, the feeling's prolly out of this world. it doesn't get any better than that. yeah yeah i know i sound corny and tacky.

they say love sucks. cause disappointments repeats itself. and you get hurt along the way. but what relationship doesn't have quarrels and fights? we do discover our flaws and strengths this way.

but i know why people keep coming back for more, as much as they say love sucks.

cause its probably the closest thing we have to magic.
